I feel like it's been WAY too long since I've posted any serious Transformers stuff...I keep forgetting how much I love this fandom...

@pengilly@fanglitch.space I keep wanting to get into the comic books but dunno where to start. Also the shows, last I watched it was in the very early 90s

@raccoon I started with the suggested reading order from the Transformers: IDW Collection, if you're interested! (Though the hardback volumes are difficult to come by now, I'm sure you might look up the titles of the individual series and...find a way to read each one (like buying off of eBay, or—!)https://tfwiki.net/wiki/The_Transformers:_The_IDW_Collection_Volume_OneThe folks on the wiki say that the placement of some stories was questionable, but everything made perfect sense to me. Of course, I've heard some people just starting off with Transformers MTMTE, but I personally loved a lot of the previous stories (especially Spotlight: Cliffjumper, Last Stand of the Wreckers, and Megatron Origin), as well as getting some of the references to prior lore made in the comics. Though the story very much stands on its own with even a bit of knowledge of Transformers. Apparently this series was the sole reason some folks are into Transformers!
