       Bad idea: you know how there were some early digicams that you had to insert as a pcmcia card to download the pictures?Imagine an ISA card camera.

       @foone Yeah but card-edge is at least somewhat durable. PCMCIA having just exposed bare pins with no support? It was a terrible connector.
