@serge but that is a usual tactic in cases like that. It was implemented by the European union in the past Trump presidency, and currently in the actual too.Of course, with other language, but there are now new tariffs for branches where their main production and management places are in the deep red states. I am not saying I am for it, anyway I'm not in the US, Canada or Europe, but it is not the first time measures like that have been implemented.

@kjr Can you show me where the EU is doing this?I only see them implementing tariffs on "products typically made in red states", which is similar but not the same.

@kjr I think that difference is larger than it might feel from the outside.Tariffs by sector vs exclusion by state of origin.Two boxes of cereal, one banned and the other not.
