Due to thesis reasons (@hananas ) I need OS suggestions, the goal is to test different TCP stacks. Requirements: They need to run in QEMU KVM x86_64, have to be able to accept incoming TCP connections (web or ssh server for example) and the OS has to be installable without me losing my mind. So far we’ve tested:- Windows Server 2025- Linux Kernel 6.12- FreeBSD - OpenBSD- NetBSDPlans include ReactOS, Illumos, Haiku and SerenityOS. What else did I miss?
