I figured there was no point in even seeing Poa.st anymore after I got defederated, so I blackholed their instance immediately after the fact. Now everything's quiet. Now, I'll take my licks but it's given me time to actually have hobbies that aren't mindlessly posting on the fediverse (given my significantly lowered post count, this is the explanation for that).But it's also given me time to think about the nature of the platform. One person decides your access to so many different viewpoints, conversations and ideas. It is somehow even more fucked than Twitter.

Poast is kind of like a one-size-fits-all glove, and eventually you notice better places *for you*, even if those places aren't better *for everyone else*.
