I got original GameBoy with Tetris and Super Mario Land for my birthday when it came out, I must have gone through thousands of batteries with that thing. Looking back, it's pretty wild how many really fun games they were able to make on such a basic piece of technology.

I had a neighbor who was big into pirating DOS games and he had tons of these old 3.5 floppy cases full of games so he copied me all the full versions of Commander Keen and all this other shit so I had like a 1000 games lol.

What games did you play the most? I played a shit load of Balloon Kid and Kirby's Pinball on original GameBoy. There was also this weird ass game called "Maru's Mission" that I used to play a lot because it creeped me out.

This version of Donkey Kong was one of my all time favorites too. Donkey Kong Land was pretty cool too, but this game was awesome because it was like old school Donkey Kong combined with a puzzle game or something.

I think that was the first game that was made to work with Super GameBoy on SNES, like if you played on an SNES it had a unique color palette and stuff that looked really cool.
