@stux I don't guess there's a technical limit on ultimate size, just the energy requirements to actually move it.It might take the energy of a supernova to move certain ones in the news lately. That's each.Our Sun can't go supernova, so I'm afraid we're just going to have to fire them off towards another solar system and they can build their ship there.

@stux That's why they need a supernova to power it.There are no nearby stars that can go supernova though. We'll just have to fire them towards the closest ones we can. It might take a few thousand years, but when they get there they can go crazy I guess.

@nazokiyoubinbou There must be an more efficient way.. 🤔 Maybe we can covert their mass into energy directly by slingshotting them into an accretion disk, making them boink into other stuff converting even more mass etc
