       @foone i read all your things and i did this recently windows. I have a really old redhat install disk somewhere, i could probably do this too. Did you settle on the emulator you did for any reason? I can't remember which one i used a few months back, but it supported emulating GPUs, too, like riva tnt or voodoo2, as well as midi and sound cards and the like, which is why i checked it out. I played quake, it worked great!got on mIRC, connected to a network and was sharing screenshots!
