@Leyonhjelm @polarisera @Flick @LostInCalifornia @TriptychTwinsRidesAgain I was much more interested in the idea that Argentinians didn't necessarily learn as much about America from their news corporations even though there isn't an ocean between them compared to somewhere like Britain which is in Europe and there is an ocean between us. The BBC is an obvious organisation to look at but there are other news outlets here too. Because we do get influenced by what happens in America here, like a trickle down effect... why are we so influenced by America? Is it funding from something like USAid or funding from elsewhere perhaps?

@Leyonhjelm That is actually a very good point in terms of resources at scale. We also have guidelines to follow here so there might be some of that mixed in here. I still wonder about the focus on America compared to elsewhere. I wonder if other countries hear disproportionate news about another country compared to countries around them. The heavy focus on Trump didn't help matters when they brush away real concerns happening at home.
