@vikxin I have seen USB cables being used that had no right to work at all... USB cables that ought to be classified as campfire starters not cables. Covered in tape... the ends dangling from threaded copper... the mysteriously split cable... the .... the KNOTS... I don't know how it happens... the horror...

@futurebird Which Apple one? 😁 I know they've had lightning for a while, but before they were basically forced to start standardizing more they were among the companies to capitalize on making new ones every few generations so they could sell new accessories.

@futurebird @vikxin The only way I can think of to break off those prongs (short of taking tiny pliers or something to them) is maybe yanking the cords out at a weird angle every time. I just don't know how anyone would manage to break them off otherwise, lol.

@futurebird I used to work retail, so I got to help people a LOT with trying to figure out which connector went to which device, lol.And you know, there's this one dark stain on Nokia's past... They were among those with proprietary weird connectors and weird voltages designed to be harder for people to easily find alternatives to.
