@kitty@kitty.social I am always uncertain how to respond to such comments. Some people say these things joking around, and others mean it at face value. It would be easier not to respond at all, but if you're truly coming out of the closet, a lack of response and recognition can be awful (so I am told).So I will simply say, if true, congratulations, coming to terms with being honest with yourself. I hope you find yourself living the best version of your life, filled with good health, long life, and peace, love, and happiness. And if this was a joke, I still wish you well, but think more context would have been helpful.

@KittyMost mammals are fluid so I wouldn't worry about it.If you do have a fixed sexuality from start to end of life you are unusual.Age can push you closer to asexual / not interested any more, but the mechanics of attraction are weird.Personally I HATE labels, they come with so many expectations / prejudices etc.Assuming this is down to a new paramour, if you and whomever are happy and not hurting anyone, who TF cares? Equally, if you're not hurting anyone, WTF is it to do with anyone else?If it's a sudden realisation like "oh THAT's why it kept going wrong", congratulations on finding happiness in peace of mind.As long as you're happy / content - who cares, good for you.A little more happiness, maybe love, in the world - good thing, much needed.@Linux_Is_Best@misskey.de
