       @interfluidity I think he’s in there because he thinks he might be the only grown-up in the room when a crisis hits and he’ll be able to save the day. He doesn’t realise we’re past that and he’s powerless. Or he does and he’s paralysed anyway.Just my take.

       @interfluidity Something in the family history, I’m guessing. Like Michael Corleone, he may have found escape from the sins of his family to be too complicated to manage, though to be honest, he seems more like Fredo than Michele to me.
