       It's going to be over a week until we talk about the Firefox ToS thing on LNL but my initial reaction is that this isn't some evil plan, it's just a colossal PR gaffe that will probably be sorted out by the time we record.I'm not defending Mozilla leadership here, they are fucking clueless. But let's not start making up conspiracy theories when the reality is far simpler - they are just out of touch with all their boards and middle management bullshit. Most people working on Firefox mean well

       @JoeRess I agree, but Mozilla sure as hell does seem to repeatedly be slamming its dick in the same car door. At some point, you have to ask "but why are you *erect*?"I mean, I'm uncomfortably reminded of trying to explain to people in the early 00s that folks in /b weren't really Nazis, it was just a running joke.        @JoeRess This is one gaffe, in a long line of gaffes, going back years. I’m hoping you’re right. I’m hoping this isn’t some MBA business plan bullshit in the making. Everyone using FF knows what direction it should go in - pity those at Mozilla struggle with it.

       @jimsalter @JoeRess Unfortunately true. I’ve been using FF since the early 2000’s, for free. And that’s the problem. But I’m not going to donate when the ceo is paid millions. And that’s the other problem. It’s a free software company acting like a Fortune 500 company. I’d gladly pay for FF when they start acting like a free software company.
