@CozyLife From what I heard, they put it back to $500 after 3 months or so. No refunds for those who were tricked 😆. As soon as I came to post I began donating to show it wasn't the money part that bugged me.

@CozyLife @TrueMasterCole In hindsight, I can see how I allowed myself to be swindled with the lifetime membership. In my defense, as feeble as it may seem, when I joined in '16 I did so to support what seemed to be a site that supported my side. Pro White, open to ideas and a lot of shitpoasting. I thought it was important to put my money down to help it grow. And I did have a lot of fun and learned a lot, hell the tards over there convinced me to change much in my life for my betterment (a lot ended up on Poast and NCD). Needless to say I got burned as it wasn't ever about Whites, but about control.

@stoner713 @CozyLife Everyone learns something the hard way in life eventually. The event/subject may be different, but it will happen. I have a one year anniversary poast ready for March that will touch on this, but here's a quick snippet preview for it. "Do I miss anything from gab? I'll admit I miss the castle posting and beautiful nature shots, but that's about it. Do I regret ever being on gab? No. I did learn certain things that I won't go into here, but that you can probably guess. It also led me to fedi in the end."You do have honor though. You didn't double down on a sunk cost fallacy. You saw the problem, and you made the moral decision. You didn't insult others that hadn't paid, you didn't act dismissively, and you didn't beg people to pay money for a basic feature. You have my respect for that.
