@Tsuki is that laptop Panasonic?I never had luck installing Japanese correctly in Linux before, there didn't seem to be a ime button, alot+` didn't work. But I didn't have a JIS keyboard until now so it might work now if I wanted.I probably would use that usb for tails to use on computers in library and random computers.

idk this is just an image from the old store page. I haven't had issues using Japanese on linux but it's been a long time since I've had to set it up, you probably just need to install a package for Japanese input and make sure you have the fonts installed (I think Anthy is the post popular?)
