So I just had another video interview with that farm in Montana, been two weeks since the last one. They do seem interested, told me they'll be making their decision by Friday. Nervous bros, worried they'll turn me down, but also worried they won't. It's a big move and we'll have alot of stuff to figure out in a short amount of time.

@D1kTater I’ve been doing farm work just helping people out for free, I would take that over anything at this point. Its got its annoyances like any work but it’s also got a very natural goal-oriented nature to it where you can say “here’s what we need to get done” and there’s the very rewarding nature of just seeing the goal get realized that provides a real sense of accomplishment that men need (and I think lack with most modern work, or at least the payoff in modern jobs is very materialistic and shallow). The real pain points in my opinion isn’t the day to day work, it’s the unplanned work like “well we were chainsawing trees just fine and right before sunset we accidentally felled one right into the gate and now we have to replace the gate in the dark.” Or like “oh yeah add a foot of snow to whatever you were going to get done today”, shit like that. Anyway, I have no idea what your context is but I hope it works out for you and I’d guess you made a good decisio.
