       Advertisement:$320 (crossed out)$12.99 a month!I guess this must still work since I keep seeing companies doing this... but seeing this makes me want your product less. Especially since I can't work out easily how many years of being tied to you paying rent you seem to want? "$12.99 a month!" for how long? At least two years right? Or is it just ... forever?I could see "Just $12.99 to try it for a month and we will apply the $12.99 to your final purchase." I could go for THAT.

       @futurebird A lot of the time, that $320 was also a per-time-unit, it's just that the time unit was unspecified. It would fail to be supported after a while and then just stop being compatible with other things, or fail because of built-in obsolescence, and so you'd have to buy another $320 one.
