My very boring apolitical cousin who is in the military for some reason is hopping mad and all over the NAACP boycotts and texting everyone like crazy. She is PISSED.They are waking up people who they DO NOT want to activate. You see, I'm *always* like this. Not my cousin.Delighted to see it. Also, please *do* support the NAACP boycott list if you can. It's based on hitting the companies who are saying they are anti-diversity. So, pro-segregation I guess?

"Pretty soon we won't be able to buy anything at all."Yeah. Although, do not discount the joy of supporting the business efforts and projects of your friends.

@futurebird Agreed. My sister just posted something political on FB. Totally shocked but appreciative.

@neckspike @Sharksonaplane I think they are looking for a targeted impact. They have been successful in the past with their style of tactics so I see no reason not to support them too. :)Although I think they are too timid ... but I have not been doing this for 100 years.

@unlambda @neckspike It's not a very demanding ask. There are more extensive lists, but I think the goal is to show that there WILL be a response.

@futurebird in the military? hm, maybe it was the mass firings at the Veterans Administration. Maybe it was the mass firings at the National Nuclear Security Administration. Or any number of other things - good grief I've lost track.

@futurebird @neckspike @Sharksonaplane there is a huge advantage to making the list short; with only 3 items, a lot more people can remember all the companies on the list, and focus.also - for many people, boycotting walmart is a big deal; some people buy everything there. And McDonald's - wow, so many people eat 5 lunches a week there. Or more!
