@s2208 Oh, I mean it's stuff that's all over the place.I'll never build a house of my own, or even really ever have one at all. I don't think I'll ever learn how to fly an airplane even though I've always wanted to. I don't think I'll ever ski again, let alone get good at it.Marriage and children are very remote ideas, now.The only things that make me feel bad, though, are pretty specific. Things I'll never build or fix around here, little ways I could make life better for my family if I had the resources, which I suppose I could have tried much harder to accumulate during the many years I dreamed of doing anything with them.

@ACL9000 I guess the key is to focus on the ones that are into you. Just try and get to know them and see if feelings develop. Obviously you aren't going to find a mate with some blue hair but maybe one that isn't political. The more deal breakers you put up, the shorter the list of candidates becomes. It's like anything in life you are only going to get 8-10 things you want.

@ACL9000 It’s pretty much what my husband and I did. We both worked we met to have a meal and then crash at one or the others place. I don’t know where everyone gets the idea that even in marriages people don’t keep separate homes for jobs, or make arrangements. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. If the person likes you they will make plans with you. Shid, going camping or making outside plans is an awesome way to figure out if you two can work together.

@ACL9000 @JollyWizard it’s not eww gross. it’s that it’s seen as a singular activity. riding bitch for a lady has a specific age range and anything after that isn‘t really highly sought after. you’d really have to target a tomboy to make that stick. It comes with the feeling that you enjoy being alone and driving a lot. motorcycles don’t give off family guy vibes. it is uncomfortable, you get sun burn, wind burn, and the accident rate is something ladies avoid. It’s seen as an expensive and time consuming hobby that correlates to mechanics.
