We got a nice sunny start so went out for a bit and now it's grey, cold and breezy. At least I filled the bird feeders so it'll be an orgy of feasting and bird song for the next couple of days.I too want spring to get a move on, it's been such a crap damp non-white winter that I'm happy for a change to come right now.

@Grumblesock We have sun now, but it comes and goes behind the clouds. Very windy too. 75° at present. Nice. Spring has begun here already. Had some rain the past few days and my ferns have already taken off sprouting anew! Happy about that because the bloody chickens kept getting out and eating them. I'm going out in just a min and birdseed is on my list.

@Grumblesock We got some cold and even freezing temps overnight, but not much, and I think that's over now.Yes, those dang birds have 3/4 of my side yard (huge area) and they want to get out and destroy the other 1/4. I love them, but sometimes they really try my patience. 😮💨

I used to love keeping chickens but they really can fuck up one's gardening efforts for sure.I hope you've had your last frost there for now, i think the next few nights here will be cold ones but with luck the change later this week will be us moving into warmer flowery time. That said the weather can pull a fast one and give us a hint o spring and then take it back again. 😒
