@tiefling Point of Order: You assume that I was playing hero games. I was not.I was playing games in which I am the power, not the rebels. Games in which I make the hard decisions and which generally end up putting down rebellions of heroes, using the truth to do so.Because I actually enjoy planning, logistics, making sure the world works, and keeping people from breaking it. @SitaDulip @tiefling Well I've been pretty successful doing some writing lately and consulting in the hobby. I've successfully retired from a fairly demanding career over the last couple of decades. I'm enjoying life. I consider those decent accomplishments.What I'm not doing is going around injecting my own personal brand of political misery into communities that don't have anything to do with it. I would consider that more of a failure mode, but that's me.

Did you not read it in order to determine what community might have been targeted with an insipid political message? You don't need to know anything about my background or find some common ground except to realize that I don't want stupid political agitation pushed into the gaming community.
