@stux I agree with the sentiment, but how do you do this effectively without playing the polarization game and alienating those with a different opinion? Media has generally failed us in this regard.

@stux We're in agreement! The question is how to stand up efficiently and effectively against them without using similar disingenuous methods? I haven't found the answer yet. A good start is probably to stand your ground and lead by example.

@stux Plenty of T-stans are fascists or bigots, but I've met plenty who are frankly just dumb as shit and literally don't know better. We wouldn't call a toddler a fascist, because they're not sophisticated enough to be. Plenty of legal adults have the minds of toddlers, and I'm not ready to dignify their staggering stupidity by suggesting they have anything like a coherent ideology behind it or think about anything that much. They're just really fucking stupid.
