Personally I think Blizzard made one of the best music for games ever :warcraft: Imagine being 12 or so and playing a massive open world where you can be whatever you want with this music in the backgroundThe game was slow and hard but it made you feel like a god! Safe to say I was addicted to it for a while but because of different reasons then games use these days I thinkIt was an incredible good game with literally no ending but it was hard "work" and a lot of planning etc that kept me engagedNot the endless "miss out on skin X or Y" lootbox bullshit nowadays

@stux I liked the fact that we were able to get 40 people to behave like one coherent machine. The effort, time and sweat. And the finally defeating a boss. I also did calculations, a lot. I always loved to prove people wrong that my melee Enhancement Shaman should in fact NOT use windfury totems. And.. my damage output was on par with other melee classes. It was different from the meta, and therefore interesting to me. Played Alliance hunter first, Shaman and finally a Death Knight.

@jasperbuma Ohh yeah! I think we even managed 100 or 200at some point with the "For The Horde" achievement, that was soooo amazing!Basically WoW was the first social media platform on Earth :blobcatgiggle:

@stux I remember the Diablo 1 & 2 games in particular just felt so atmospheric. The music just... fit.There are a lot of companies and games I've felt had even better still music, but Blizzard back in those days was absolutely excellent at it and they did it right.
