@stux Edit then delete. Deletes are usually just UPDATE tablename SET deleted = 1If you edit first, if they don't keep an audit log, they will have bad data

@stux The REALLY annoying thing is that loads of resturants (at least over here in the UK) use FB as a website so you can't book or see their menu without logging in :(

@stux I’m really disturbed because although I deleted my Instagram and Threads accounts, I started a business on FB four years ago. I’m struggling to find a way to run my business without it. It makes simply come down to me closing my business. Dumping Meta is really more important.

@stux that’s so kind of you. But I’m an independent consultant for a company that can’t sell outside of the USA, and it depends on social contacts. It’s not the kind of thing I can do on here. Plus, I’d really like to keep the fediverse for free speech. I can’t mix that with my business. It stinks, but I believe I’m not going to have a choice.
