Question for Linux people:I've just bought a Linux mini computer with Ubuntu preloaded on it. I know what programs I'm going to install for the various things I'll use it for.I do NOT know what to do for security. IN TERMS UNDERSTANDABLE TO A NOOB, please point me at programs / reliable resources to learn what security I need on my new machine. It's still in box as this week was hell. I'd like to unbox and start using soon. Ish.#linux #help #Advice #noob #thankyou

@MeyariMcFarland there is the Ubuntu community security wiki. But generally Linux is a pretty secure os out of the box depending on your threat model. If your coming from windows especially, you might expect you need an anti virus but that is not generally the case with Linux.
