       @stux It would be helpful, but he and trump are attempting to seize the US government payment system - basically a coup against our democracy.  Either the Court system stops him or we'll have to take to the streets to force him to be arrested.

       @stuxWould be harder to do than most of the smaller auto makers as Tesla have factories in multiple countries, including the USA, China, and Germany. So a country would have to apply the tariff to each country that has a factory.Assuming a country did that and had a large enough driver base, yes it could hurt Tesla, but right now only Canada and USA have that base.

       @stux Musk's wealth is largely down to the valuation of Tesla. But it is wise, if entering a war on purpose, to make sure it doesn't backfire on you. A better tactic would simply be obvious public revulsion at people buying Teslas. If no one buys them then the work does itself.Make it so no one wants to be seen in a Tesla but those who are themselves fascists.

       @stux It would not be too difficult for all those Tesla charging stations to have issues and no longer work……. And those are exclusive to Tesla - they can’t charge on regular charging stations like everyone else does.
