       @kissane Agreed! Most of the newer public leisure centres in the UK have gender-neutral changing spaces with large, family-sized, securely lockable cubicles so that people can segregate themselves however they see fit. To my knowledge, they're not being bombarded by complaints, because this arrangement keeps everyone safe.Thousands of smaller establishments also only have one bathroom, as do trains and planes. Again, no deluge of complaints. 🤷‍♂️

       @kissane In advocating for this, I suggest calling them family bathrooms. Language is important in widening support. Finding a bathroom where I could take my children to, unassisted, was CRITICALLY important to me as a young mother.

       @kissane A lot of the restaurants I frequent (and one movie theatre) have switched to unisex, basically individual restrooms. They take up roughly the same space and are far more enjoyable to use.
