       Guys, really. Our apparently brisk GDP growth is down largely to rentierism, attaching ever more, ever larger tolls to everything. It’s not meaningful prosperity. We are miserable.        @interfluidity The obsession with GDP growth as a race, whether it’s Europe “falling behind” the US or the latter “falling behind” China, has done a lot of damage. It’s just palette-swapped “number go up”-ism
