I don't think the youtubers will jump ship until it's already underwater tbh, gave up on invidious because every instance seemed broken more than they were up. Brave's adblocker still seems to consistently work though, just gotta deal with chrome's laggy bullshit.

Nice, I think I was mostly trying to use poast's then just clicking alternative instance when that didn't work. Seems like youtube really upped their efforts to kill adblockers/alternatives, had to swap browsers because either brave's inbuilt one or the main adblocker for chrome are the only ones keeping up.

@Sui @dcc @twizzay yt-dlp is still doing pretty good despite their efforts. Might want to try it in conjunction with mpv. Heard it's pretty great, but I don't use the mpv way I standalone so I don't know from experience.

@realman543 @Sui @twizzay You can rss a youtube feed and use mpv to see the videos (might be the best way) imo invidious is for the phone though (i have some music on gootube and not downloaded)

@rl_dane Yeah. I guess I sort of meant it that way. His videos are funny and newsworthy. So it's worth the watch. But, he absolutely tries to manipulate the viewers. Just like other Youtubers. Piped cuts out all the sponsored content as well as intros and outros. And I noticed that in a few of his more frivolous videos, the topics we're mostly negative until the sponsored content kicks in. So, anyway. Hes funny. But, I don't have a lot of respect for him as a content producer. Thus, I call him Techbro. I feel justified wid it.
