       If I'm not offended it often means that I don't really value the opinions or ideas of the person who would otherwise cause offense. If you have offended me that means I respect you enough to care what you think. That's not a given. I highly recommend not internalizing the values of those who do not treat you with basic respect. Gives you a back like a duck.
