So like to have some advice here... part of my business is having a virtual online call center and these guys are overseas, most being in colombia. these guys are def. different than my ones from Phillippines and Jamaica. All but one ive had issues with and i had to fire him the other day. so trying to make long story short, my heart goes out to him bc he had a stroke in his 20s, is paralyzed and has come a long way.

been working with me for 3 years but always has had issues with rude callers which we dont get many of plus he suffers from paranoia bc he thinks callers are either out after him or its another agent calling to mess with him, though ive showed him its not and his own father has told him to get help, he goes good and ive given him many...this is last chance warnings....but what i found the other night was too much.

hes been texting callers bc he didnt think i would find out but i did. most of the texts are to calls hes not taking so hes thinking they can't connect him back to my business but there were some to callers he did take, jeoporadizing my relationship with my clients, thankfully that didnt happen.then he claimed it wasnt him and it was a hacker which the phone company proved it wasnt and then i told him it was done, no coming back, its over the other night.

now he came back today, finally admitted to it all, promised wont do it again, gave some reasons. i know he desparately needs this job, which is why i always gave him a chance again, hes a great agent, does a good job but has this issue.

so im torn on what to do here. My heart says to give him a 2nd chance, i can disable the texts and at least he was good to his word on callers, on the calls ive checked plus ill be letting him know i have somenone to monitor these calls so he always knows he will be looked at. and im guessing hes messed up enough in the past where his parents might just write him off

, plus hes in debt to them as well and though i wouldnt take any blame for what happens if i dont, i do get the feeling he may try and do something stupid, like drink again which caused a siesure after he lost his brother to a suicide last spring. so yeah,he has a lot going against him. but then my business side says....he blew it, not once but multiple times and was a big risk. can i really trust him?

I know the Lord has given me so many chances when i went thru some serious struggles many years ago, but i also didnt lie about it and asking for help with the Lord and i do think....is this a big enough scare for him to really try and get help and get his mental life in order? bc some of these texts he was sending was like 8th grade stuff, such as we used to prank people back in the late 70s as a early teenager.

the mentality tells me hes dealing with some issues and i know part of it is from the stroke bc of what his dad told me. between that and now his brothers suicide, his dad told me it really messed him up. so love to know thoughts from you all here! appreciate it in advance.

@conservativechris Why not make getting some treatment a condition of his return, along with an evaluation by a shrink?

@Phil had thought about this option as well but guy doesn't have money for it. if i do it, i will have him go seek out at least his father or wife to discuss these intruding thoughts. still up in air on it. i will say this, if i do, there wont be a short leash, there will be no leash. one pop off, gone.
