It is time to reinstall my #pinebookpro What distro should I use? I currently use debian with an older kernel, but it would be nice to be more up to date.I mostly use the terminal on it, so no fancy GUI needed (not fancy, but basic atleast)Ideas?

@selea Fedora? Or do you want to stick with debian-like?

@selea I recommend Fedora as a nice stable base, it’s reasonably up to date with source. If you want the knifes edge, Arch is my recommendation.

@fedops Nice, I'll look into it. I just want something simple and easy to maintain. The pinebook are basically turning into a console for my lab-environment. I think it is perfect for that :)@OrbitalMartian @jahanson

@selea @jahanson Ooh, I’m not sure. I’m sure it will, it’s got very good hardware support elsewhere.

@selea Budgie or XFCE for a desktop environment would be lightweight and yet look nice.
