Ooof.. it took some hours but I made some progress in packaging for Android yayThink I got the SDK and NDK API stuff figured out and it doesn't crash right away now :blobcatgiggle: Slowly but surely we're getting there..

@stux Not an authority on this — the last app I built was in 2017 — but as a user modern Android is a huge disappointment.I really like Graphene and I'm naively optimistic that Sailfish can still claw things back, but mobile computing looks like a hellscape to me. Our future appears to solely be in a vain hope that miniaturising ARM and x86 will win out so we can run Linux properly — and I'm very doubtful we'll get even that.I am very sad.

@stux Thinking again of POSIWID: The Purpose of a System is What It Does. Obviously the mess/complexity of Android is a win for Google. They must be getting something out of it. But what? To understand that last bit is above my paygrade as a librarian 😅
