Okay so I just went to our "local phone store", you know that locally sourced telecom shop almost every town hasAnd bought a second hand Samsung Galaxy A41for 100 euros for testing my games on Android so I can publish them also in the Play StoreI don't use Android myself so it's unfort development costs. Almost done with the first build for Android for testingUnofrt this phone model doesn't get updates anymore so max Android 12 it isI am very new to the Android ecosystem so it's still a lot of searching and guessingIf you use #Android, what version are you on?

@stux I am on the current OS version for e/OS on my FairPhone 3. That uses Android 13. Be cool if you could support that.

@stux that should be a good testing device. Unfortunately it doesn't look like there is an Official LineageOS release for it. If there was, it would get you up to the current Android version and continued security updates/patches. Lineage offers much longer-term support, since you shouldn't need to buy a new phone every couple years, just to be secure. But for what you need it should be just fine!

@stux newer versions should still run the game unless there is some very specific thing that has gotten deprecated recently. Where you would run into trouble is targeting newer versions, since then it may require features not included in past versions of Android. I think targeting 12 or even 11 is the way to go.

@tokenwizard Thank you!I already run into issues with API versions indeed, Google wants the min API-34 it seemsI got permission errors on the device since it needs to store save games, trying to work around that somehow
