I think I'm finally going to buy a 3D Printer. I want a fully open source, relatively small physical footprint (my office can't accommodate a large printer) printer. The Prusa MINI+ as my frontrunner but I'm also a noob so any recommendations are welcome. Thanks in advance!

@maxamillionI'm slightly biased on the RepRap front :) They're a bit of a project, mind. The Mendel is a good early generation design - the Prusas are based off it - and if you want a tiny version of the same there's the Huxley. That's even less practical, but very cute. The MINI+ requires a lot less fiddling to keep going. Even though I made RepRap, I use a Prusa Mk4 for real work these days.

@vik I'm not really looking for a project, I'd like something that's as beginner friendly and ready to go out of the box as possible.
