       Does anyone besides me remember how a few weeks ago there were CCP soldiers on the mexican side of our southern border? I wonder if they helped set some of those fires in LA and the government did the rest with DEW?I mean why the fuck were they even there to begin with?

       Check out the pictures of the neighborhoods lost. All that wind, and every house around this shed disintegrated but it's unscathed, and the trees seem fine. I could be wrong, but my spidey sense is tingling.

       Fires are weird. I once went to look at a property for sale in rural Montana. The pictures online seemed decent, and although there were only a couple, it's not uncommon for such listings; the realtor just drives by and snaps a couple photos of the cattle gate and frontage. When we arrived it turned out that the nice forested pictures were of a small patch of trees from very carefully chosen angles. The entire rest of the area, for miles around was completely burned out. Nothing but char. Probably not even a year had passed since the fire. You could see some other random little stands of trees on distant hills. There as nothing special about where these trees were, they just simply got randomly spared due to the whimsy of the whole thing.

       I understand but what makes me skeptic of the trees in this instance is California was having some outrageous wind at the time the fires were burning, I don't see this many still standing, with no water to put any fires out, with that windage. But again, just my gut feeling that this was a land grab 🤷🏼‍♂️
