       @Escoffier @AmonMaritza i liked that the documentary is called 'phil collins: drummer first' and he does make a point of seeing himself as such, and him being underestimated is a common theme throughout it (as far as i watched)i've been listening to a lot of genesis lately and he really was incredible

       @BrazilianContrarian @AmonMaritza I stated playing drums in 1980 and early very prog Genesis was still being played on the radio and i definitely remember being challenged to play some of his earlier stuff.  He also had a gift for creating mood as much as anything else.
