       @stux @TechCrunch For me the fact checking thing was bad, but not a deal breaker.  It's not like fact checking is helping anything anyway.But when I found out they were also going to start explicitly allowing anti-LGBT hate speech, that was enough.  I'm giving them a week to backtrack and then I'm deleting my account.

       @stux IIRC even if you ask them to delete the account, it will take them exactly 30 days to completely shut down it. And the account deletion even some 15 years ago was so well hidden that I can only guess how many people know how to do it these days

       @ZySoua @stux  IG once deactivated my account for no reason and said all my data would be deleted after so many days, I forget how many.  When I finally circumvented their system and reached a human being I'm sure it was a lot longer but everything was restored.
