       The cafe I'm in is playing relaxing bossa nova which gets significantly less relaxing when you notice it's on an infinite loop.

       It's actually impressively bad:* The entire loop is less than a minute and a half (yes I timed it)* Very internally repetitive, and yet* The "seam" between the end and beginning is extremely awkward and obvious

       @APBBlue @misc "Relaxing" bossa nova is pretty tame compared to my story: me and a pretty big company of my friends were once having beers at a bar and there was "You my heart, you're my soul" by Modern Talking playing through the speakers for, I kid you not, four hours straight!Not sure what was keeping the employees from attacking the guests… Unless they were all drugged like animals in the zoo 🤔
