I started writing a bit of an improvement rant after this but there's no way i can fit it in the baraag character limit so if you'd like I could email a full answer to you or something. @TarnishedCloak compare your art to artists that are much better than you - try to figure out what they're doing that you aren't and then attempt to execute those same things don't be lazy about looking for good refs when you're even slightly unsure about what something looks like (no one can figure out how to draw a tree without spending a while properly staring at and analyzing what it actually looks like) I hope you find any of this helpful :comfy_cirno:

@TarnishedCloak Yeah that's a great point, mental health comes first and I do think you need to be in the right headspace if you want to seriously push yourself with your art, the same way you'd need to be in good physical health if you'd want to go ham in the gym or something. I'd advise not to not push yourself past your mh limits - any stress you encounter has to be tolerable. Do look through the tutorial I linked if you haven't though, it's honestly the best art content I've found, period!
