what if we did a *reverse* merger? we could sell ourselves to Denmark for, like, $1, then we'd have Greenland AND a civilized state.

@interfluidity Dang it, if we're doing a reverse merger with Greenland, we need to go the whole way.The United States becomes a territory of Greenland, which is itself a territory of Denmark.Our capital becomes Nuuk.We get 2 members in the Inatsisartut.Our sole official language will be kalaallisut (Greenlandic).Greenland appoints a high commissioner to represent Greenland in the United States. We won't be using 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue for anything else, so I'm sure she will be able to live there.
