@stux I am still of the opinion that this should be a per user choice. I follow some people on threads and I’d like them to have time to move. They already left X. Moving again won’t happen overnight. Choosing threads may have been a mistake, but it wasn’t a malicious act. I have a compromise though. Make threads opt-in instead of opt-out.

@stux personally don't mind either way which is a huge shift from where I stood before. I haven't been active on here but I am glad I continued to support the server. I hope the "small" fediverse remains a safe haven for smaller tight knit communities

@stux this will cause alot of issues.@thegreenparty and @greenelects are not on Mastodon yet. If blocked, it will cause our engagement rate to drop and make the networking effect much much worse due to lack of content.

@stux Block threads. Protect your users. A user block does NOT behave the same as an instance block. If they don't like it and wont take the threat of what Zuck is doing seriously then they can go elsewhere. I have seen a huge surge of instances blocking threads since he did this and its for damn good reason. Block Threads. We should all be pressuring Gargon to block it from main mastodon as well.
