New to me, maybe not you: large and usable rundown of CP/M-80 compilers, downloadable from his github, along with NTVCM, a CP/M-80 command line emulator for most systems.https://medium.com/@davidly_33504/cp-m-80-2-2-compilers-91958a8f1d58It downloaded compiled and ran (provided) WordStar, just like that.Weird -- I have not run WordStar in ~40 years, it all popped back in my head like it was last week. ^K^X.

@tomjennings @monospace ๐Ÿ‘ I really like this part: 'There has never been a better time to be a CP/M developer, provided youโ€™re not trying to make money at it.' ๐Ÿ˜€

@tomjennings All I could think was "reveal codes" but IIRC that was WordPerfect.

@TheTraveller Lol exactly! My programming career is weeerd, non pro for the last almost 20 years, so I wrote what I want. Mainly embedded stuff, aka "Arduino", but really, Adafruit and now Teensy. I'm really not interested in desktop or Internet code. It's too loaded and fraught. Embedded is much more fun for me!I just sent out a board to JLPCB for a teensy emulated z80 computer! I'll be writing a bios for cpm 2.2 soon! Rom debugger and all. I'm really looking forward to writing 8080 code, somehow. @monospace
