Spent several days and countless hours tinkering with Pleroma migrations. It was a lot of trail and error, but I finally moved the server away from Rebased (Soapbox BE) (Pleroma 2.3.0) to the latest Pleroma version (2.8.0). Regrettably, there are currently no good alternatives to Soapbox FE, so I cannot fully cleanse the instance of "Gleasonware". @alex had months to respond to my concerns around Rebased and potentially offer solutions. Unfortunately, Alex remained silent, while @graf offered to help. Due to my hectic schedule, I wasn't able to accept that offer, but I appreciate it nonetheless. Regardless, I am incredibly disappointed by Alex's actions, or lack thereof. If you don't have the time to maintain the software people use, then be transparent about it and allow someone else to lead development. On a final note, I do not follow all of Alex's numerous obscure social media accounts, so maybe he has discussed these concerns with others already. All I know is that the development of Rebased has been stagnant for months.
