@CDuBois Much better than just painting "unvxd" Amish have no autism. The kids that the Amish adopted, who were vxd, had it. So eating clean and having an active lifestyle were not the variables that prevented autism. Very interesting. Does Steve Kirsh know this?

@slamy @CDuBois I did not know about the adopted, vxd, raised by Amish. Very interesting!

@CDuBois Honestly, I like the idea that inbreeding keeps #Autism from developing better amongst the #Amish more than anything else. General scientific consensus is that #Autism is genetic so it makes sense that a community with more precise and limited sexual selection would also see fewer variances and anomalies like #Autism.

@Zennagain @slamy @CDuBois well I know a dude who didn't vaxx his kids and they are still autistic, and he still thinks vaccines increase autism.

@y @CDuBois @slamy I'm sure there are many variables that contribute. None of the examples prove anything. The same people who mandated a non sterilizing experiment, will also say they need evidence. The point is we should be investigating causes of the explosion in illnesses and how to mitigate the damage. Anecdotes don't persuade most people.

@realcaseyrollins @CDuBois Unfortunately, it exposes them to many other health problems. Including Angleman syndrome, which isn't all that different from Autism. The primary difference being that people that suffer from it are more social.

@y @CDuBois @slamy Not really. That would be true if the relationship between making money or making safe effective products was different. Nice try.

@Sherri_Ingrey @CDuBois @y @slamy We were talking about the unvxd Amish not having autism vs the vxd, adopted Amish with some having autism. The variables of clean eating and active lifestyle were the same. Exposure to environmental toxins would be limited in those communities. They still might have gay frogs though...πŸΈπŸ³β€πŸŒˆ

@realcaseyrollins That's a cynical response. The Amish population is over 400,000 in the US.This is about vaxxed versus unvaxxed.Nothing else.

@CDuBois There's another possibility, that the #Amish don't see doctors as often and #Autism just isn't something they look for in their community
