       @foolishowl @futurebird Isn't it used in gangster movies from the 20s-30s?Today, we might say "Feds".Actually, the funniest thing to me was when I discovered that "Feds" meant police authority in British slang, where, of course, they *don't have" "Feds".I learned this from "Attack the Block" (2011) -- which is sort of a sci-fi monster movie, actually, but stars John Boyega & Jodie Whittaker. Fun movie. Shame it's too recent for Monsterdon.

       @futurebird Okay this is driving me crazy now ... My first reaction was "Isn't G-Man the name of that classic video game with the robot whose arm is some kind of gun and who has a dog?"And apparently it's not, but now my brain refuses to tell me what that video game was actually called!
