@frameworkcomputer I would love a USB-C / Thunderbolt docking station that had the expansion card options.Not sure if that makes sense, but I could see a big market for it - customisable docks.For example, I have a Dell WD-15 at my parents I leave there. @frameworkcomputer I like my Framework 13. There are three things I'd change, though, in descending order.First, QMK support for the keyboard. I'll buy a new input cover with no hesitation if one comes out with QMK.Better wifi signal. I've tried MediaTech and two AX210 cards, but the signal is never that great. An external USB adapter works perfectly.A more reliable fingerprint reader. Mine has gotten worse in recent weeks. Even before that, it wasn't perfect, but worked.

@frameworkcomputer While printers are often named here, I don't think this makes sense much. Brother laser printers are /fine/, almost indestructible and cheap cartridges. Perhaps one could think of a coop here but that's all IMHO.Speaking of cooperation, I'd love to see something happen with Oxide, System76 and perhaps 9Elements for some better coreboot support.In terms of products, I think improving the existing should be priority:* if a /good/ ARM chip can be sourced, it'd be a nice competitor to Apples macBooks -- fanless please :3* even better webcams! The new webcam upgrade is great, but to compete with e.g., smartphones, you want much better on-cam post-processing.Of course expansion into periphery would be somewhat nice, however, repairability is your forté and it's less of an issue with say, mice, keyboards, I think.

Not just for shipping but maybe consider partnerships with one or more retailers in those regions.Being able to import units and spare parts is fine for the most part, but it’s a chore to import batteries into my country. Being able to just buy everything from a local retailer would ideal.

@frameworkcomputer Also kinda modular phone/tablet with M.2. slot (or socketed eMMC) and privacy focus aka. kill-switches and without things like in-display fingerprint (which is the sole reason I did not get a Shift 8 yet).Nice to have would also be input for display signals thus that the phone/tablet can act as a portable monitor.Also some other funny things I would like to see in a phone:- UKW & DAB+ (exists in a few phones but still)- Notification LED should tell if the system is getting charged or not even if the OS doesn't boot up.- RF 433 MHz and LoRA (on the common frequence for each region)- Second low-power system that is powered by a second battery and that can be used for basic phone functionalities that might be needed in emergency situations. Could also serve as a neat way to remotely boot the main system or just for listening to radio when the more inefficient main system sucked the main battery empty...

@frameworkcomputer improve the touchpad to improve touch rejection. My biggest issue with my F16 is random touches moving the cursor around when I’m typing. My hands are far from the keyboard and I never get the problem with my MBP, Dell, or Clevo laptops.

@frameworkcomputer please ship an AMD Framework 13 firmware build for Fedora - an “officially supported” OS - that doesn’t cause random insane slowdowns while doing regular desktop loads that can only be alleviated by a reboot.Oh, and maybe an AMD main board for the 13 that allows full HDMI/DP, USB-C Power Delivery & USB 4.0 on all 4 ports. And trickle charging below the 65W PD standard.

@frameworkcomputer I would like to see more hardware improvements and lower prices. Bought a Laptop this year but not the Framework because of the way higher prices compared to the competition which unfortunately made it not really worth it to me. :/

There really are no open options in the printer space, but it's also much more niche than a laptop.Expansion to the uses available for old parts, like battery bank enclosures for old li-ion packs, graphics card enclosures for old GPU modules, etc

@frameworkcomputer Others have mentioned this here, but my top request is for a 2-in-1 style machine with pen support.I would also love to see a version of the coolermaster that can support a battery, or perhaps a way to take the lower half of the battery and have the ability to replace the keyboard with a vesa or magnet mountable panel, and cover the hinges.Being able to mount a framework laptop to a cintiq or similar would be amazing.
