       @stux Allowing right turns on red would also help reduce costs from cars that idle at a light while they could have been turning. The right on red movement is under attack, it's being banned/restricted in the District of Columbia and in parts of Virginia now, and I'm sure other places as well. But it sure does consume more fuel, which is it is of interest to only one constituency...

       @stux It's against the law to leave your vehicle idling in Ann Arbor, MI. There are exceptions, but AAPD can issue $100 tickets for anyone idling outside of acceptable limits.https://cdllife.com/2017/ann-arbor-now-no-idle-zone/
