so yeah, the ladybird dev is boosting conspiracy theories and claiming he's been instructed to participate in "reverse racism" against white men as an exec, and how he was "scared to rock the boat".if you weren't convinced that he's just an asshole by his "pronouns are political" statements before, then yeah.. here's him diving even deeper into this garbage.it's always the same. starts with "pronouns and genders are political" and devolves into this kind of stuff. this is basically him saying he believes in white replacement theory.https://archive.is/ZtQpjEdit: removed the transphobia claim since he wasn't *explicitly* transphobic

@aumetra "management asking us to 'keep the corporate diversity targets in mind'[...]I knew in my heart this wasn't wholesome, but I was too scared to rock the boat at the time."This is not racist. This is not a conspiracy theory. This is a perfectly valid way to share a personal experience and opinion. You don't have to agree with his opinion. You may vehemently disagree, but slandering someone who is giving his free time to the world based on this is bullshit.

@kiri @aumetra To slander someone is to make "false and damaging statements" about them, which is precisely what is happening here by falsely implying that he is a believer of a "racist conspiracy theory" (white replacement theory) because he respectfully criticized affirmative action at Apple in a tweet.

@luatic So... agreeing with someone who posts "White males are actively discriminated against in tech." [via being denied job positions], which logically implies believing there to be an organized effort to expel them (despite the fact that most tech employees in the US by far are white men) ISN'T believing in a conspiracy theory? Like, hopefully you're capable of seeing how he's at least, maybe unwittingly, making it seem like he believes that, right? @aumetra

@kiri @aumetra Discrimination is the "unfair or prejudicial treatment of people and groups" based on "protected" characteristics such as race. Affirmative action is, depending on beliefs and definitions, definitively discriminatory, and it is an organized effort. Discriminate != expel. No, he's not making it seem like he believes in white replacement theory.(Fun fact: White people seem to be slightly underrepresented in the US tech industry with ~75% vs ~63%.)
