@BrodieOnLinux I mean, it's a GPU-accelerated terminal that actually looks nice on GNOME and seems to be using GTK4 so it's good imo.

@BrodieOnLinux Been waiting for you to cover this terminal. I’m happy with Konsole, not really a power user so it’ll take a lot for me to switch. Looks pretty cool nonetheless.

@BrodieOnLinux IMO ghostty is not for linux and macos. Instead, it's for *gnome* and macos.

@BrodieOnLinux seems like a good terminal, however I prefer more minimal terminals such as foot, in my very shorting non-scientific testing I have found foot to perform just aswell as ghostty, while being much more lighter and I didn't felt likd I missed any meaningful feature, I use multiplexers such as tmux or zellij and I find them to be more ergnomical and provideo great session management

@BrodieOnLinux I always find it a little useless when terminal emulators have a fancy GUI anway. Alacritty/Kitty/Foot are all popular across environments because they’re just a window you type text into.

@BrodieOnLinux the issue of fastfetch not working correctly doesn't happen for me when I launch ghostty with fastfetch with .zshrc
